English Schools Championships 10th – 11th July

We had 4 juniors chosen to represent the County.

Senior Girl Maddie Kingston, Inter Boy’s Dominic Smith, Zac Coulson and Noah Spruce.

12 th July Wessex Junior League

Swindon AC

This was the last of the four matches for us in the league and we again put in a great effort and came 2nd to the host club Swindon.

Too many PB’s for me to go into individually.

A big shout out and thank you to our team managers Stephanie and Mark, plus our officials who turn out at to so many of the club’s events and with whom the matches could not go ahead.

This has been our most successful Wessex Junior League year and it looks like we will finish equal 3rd on league points and 4th on match points, which is fantastic when you look at the teams above us are Swindon, Basingstoke and Reading all of whom have a huge catchment population compared to Abingdon.

Also our coaches have played a massive part in getting our junior athletes ready for this level of competition.
