Racing for the club

There are plenty of opportunities for you to race for the club. It’s a great way to meet up with clubmates and share some friendly competition.

Club affiliation

You are an 'affiliated' member unless you opt out of England Athletics (EA) membership when you join the club. Affiliation means that you often get a discount on race entries. Look for the race registration form section for 'club affiliation'. Where asked, enter your EA number (sometimes called URN) and the club name. Adding the club to your entry also makes you easier to find in a list of race results.

Local races

If you go to any local race, you will likely spot AAC's gold and burgundy vests. We usually show up in large numbers to the most popular events.

We often advertise local races, but to guarantee meeting up with clubmates, take a look at the club champs race list.

If you want to find other races in your area, visit oxonraces.com.

Club kit

You do not have to wear a club vest to run a race unless it’s a club champs race and you want to be counted in the competition.

If you want to represent AAC by wearing our club colours, you can order a vest, t-shirt and other kit.
