English Schools Championships (13/07/25)

Abingdon AC had 3 athletes across three events in the Oxfordshire Team this year. Over a couple of hot days they showed the depth of talent we have in the club producing great performances that are a credit to the club. Our athletes were:

  • Harry Thynne - Junior Boy U15 - 300m (38.11 seconds)

  • Maddie Kingston - Intermediate Girl U17 - 300m hurdles (47.54)

  • Evey Powell – Senior Girl U20 - 1500m (4.26.78)

Evey qualified for the final and was in the leading pack for most of the race. She took fourth place after being piped to a podium third place on the line by two one hundreds of a second.
