Chiltern XC League 2025-26: End of Season Report

The final round took place on a waterlogged course in Luton on Saturday 7th February. Abingdon AC had 14 athletes competing, and 105 appearances over the 5 races of the season. The club competes in Division 2 of this league where trophies are on offer for the top 3 athletes who have participated in at least 4 races and medals awarded for the top 3 teams who score points over all 5 rounds.  For teams, medals are awarded to those athletes who finished in the top three places for the club in each race.

The final race was a muddy one, but it’s not always like that. We've enjoyed sunshine in St Albans and Watford, hills at Milton Keynes and more mud at Horspath.  Well done also to all the parent support crews and I hope everyone is looking forward to starting it all again later in the year!
