Abingdon Athletes win gold and silver at the European Biathle Championships

Biathle is a combined run, swim run race. The European Biathle Championships took place in Turkey at the beginning of November.

The biathle relays took place on the first day. Jack Lindsay with his partner won gold in the U13s boys race. Noah Spruce won silver with his partner in the U15s mixed gender race.

Next were the Individual events. In the u13s boys race, Jack Lindsay ran and swam fantastically to finish 7th, helping to secure a team gold for Great Britain (best 3 results are combined from each country).

It was then Noah Spruce’s turn in the U15s individual boys race. He earned a brilliant individual silver helping the GB team win the team silver.
