Track and field news - 12/05/25
Wow, what a great weekend for Club members at a sunny County Championships.
More than 55 club athletes participated across all track and field disciplines. At the start line of many of the track events, there was a sea of yellow and green.
The weekend kicked off for the club in style when, early Saturday morning, Harry Thynne and Josuha Spolander, in a hard-fought U15 boys 300m race, broke the County Championships record of 38.88 in times of 37.93 for Harry and 38.05 for Joshua.
As the temperatures rose during the day, so did the club tally of personal bests and seasons best performances. Our club now boasts 11 County Champions across a wide range of disciplines, some in more than one discipline.
